Quick Start

This guide walks you through the minimum steps to go from a fresh account to a live course your students can enroll in.

Step 1 — Log in as admin

Navigate to yourcompany.lms.techarix.com/login and sign in with your admin credentials.

First-time setup

Your account is pre-created for you. Check your email for a welcome message with your login link and temporary password.

Step 2 — Add your branding

Go to Settings → Branding.

  • Upload your logo (PNG or SVG, min 128×128 px recommended)
  • Pick your primary color — this applies to buttons, links, and highlights across the platform
  • Set your organization display name

Click Save. Your changes are visible immediately — no redeploy needed.

Step 3 — Create your first course

  1. Go to Courses → Create Course
  2. Work through the wizard's Details and Settings steps — title, description, thumbnail, category, level (see Creating & Managing Courses → for the full field list)
  3. Finish the wizard — the course is created in Draft status automatically

Step 4 — Add a module and lesson

Inside your course:

  1. Click Add Module — give it a name (e.g. "Introduction")

  2. Inside the module, click Add Lesson

  3. Choose a lesson type:

    • Video — upload an MP4 directly, no setup required — hosting and delivery are handled for you
    • Document — upload a PDF
    • Text — write content using the rich-text editor
    • Quiz — add multiple-choice, multi-select, or true/false questions
    • Assignment — link out to instructions; students submit text, a link, or a file
  4. Click Save Lesson

Step 5 — Publish the course

When you're happy with the content:

  1. Open the course
  2. Click Publish
  3. The course is now visible to enrolled students

Step 6 — Invite a student

Go to User Management → Invite User.

Enter their email, choose the Student role, and click Send Invite. They'll receive an email with a link to set their password and access the platform. You can also auto-enroll them into a course right from this same invite form.

Step 7 — Enroll the student

If you didn't auto-enroll at invite time: go to Students, open the student's row menu, click Manage Courses, and enroll them from there. They can now access the course immediately.
