Managing Students

Invite a user

  1. Go to User Management (linked from the Settings overview)
  2. Click Invite User
  3. Enter their email, and optionally first/last name
  4. Choose their role — Student or Instructor
  5. Optionally pick one or more courses under Auto-enroll — they'll be enrolled in those the moment they accept
  6. Click Send Invite

The invite shows up under Pending Invites with an expiry date; you can resend or cancel it from there. Invites are sent one at a time — there's no bulk/CSV invite option today.

Enroll a student in a course

  1. Go to Students
  2. Open the row menu for the student and click Manage Courses
  3. Under Enroll in Course, pick a course and confirm

The same modal shows all of the student's current enrollments with their progress percentage, and lets you Unenroll them from any of those courses — unenrolling doesn't delete their progress data, so re-enrolling later picks up where they left off.

Track student progress

Progress per enrollment (completion %) is shown right in the Manage Courses modal described above — there's no separate student profile page with dedicated tabs. For deeper detail (quiz scores, lesson-level completion, certificates), use Analytics → or the Certificates → list, both filterable by student.

Deactivate or suspend a student

From the Students list, open the student's row menu:

  • Deactivate / Activate — deactivating prevents login but keeps all data and progress
  • Suspend — a separate status, also from the same menu

Student roles

New users are invited as either Student or Instructor — that's the full choice available at invite time. There's currently no confirmed admin UI to change a user's role afterward; contact support if you need an existing user's role changed.

caution

Full Admin access grants control over all settings, users, and courses. Only Super Admins can create API keys and manage certain platform-level settings — see REST API Access →.

Delete a student

From the Students list row menu:

  • Delete — removes the account
  • Export Data (GDPR) / Delete Account (GDPR) — see Data Privacy & GDPR → for the compliant version of this flow
