Video Hosting

B-Accuracy LMS hosts and delivers your course videos for you — there's nothing to configure. Upload a video in the course editor and it just works.

How it works​

  • Videos are stored and transcoded on our own infrastructure — no third-party video vendor ever receives your video, and there are no credentials for you to create, enter, or rotate
  • You can see your current status under Settings → Video
  • This is the only video hosting option — there's no self-service or general support-assisted way to switch to a separate, self-hosted video provider

If you have a specific delivery requirement — for example, wanting video served through your own custom domain — contact our support team to discuss. This is evaluated case by case for the delivery layer only, not a general self-hosting offering.

How video delivery works​

  1. An instructor uploads a video in the course editor
  2. The platform transcodes it into multiple resolutions automatically
  3. When a student plays a lesson, the platform generates a short-lived signed URL — only that enrolled student can access it
  4. The video streams from a global CDN to the student

Students never see raw video URLs. Access is enforced per-enrollment, server-side — removing a student's enrollment immediately revokes their access to that course's videos.

Video formats​

  • MP4 (H.264) — recommended for fastest upload and processing
  • MOV, AVI, MKV also accepted

Transcoding happens automatically after upload — typically 1–5 minutes per 10 minutes of video, longer for very large files.

Troubleshooting​

Video stuck at "Processing" Large files can take longer to transcode. If it's been stuck for more than 30 minutes, contact our support team.

Video plays but looks blurry The player selects quality based on connection speed. Students can manually choose a higher resolution using the ⚙ icon in the video player.

Student gets "Access denied" on a video The student may not be enrolled in the course, or their enrollment may have been removed. Check their enrollment status under Users → [Student] → Enrollments.
